Community Partnership Evaluation Scheme Pilot
The Community Partnership Evaluation Scheme (CPES) is a free pilot programme developed by the Institute for Green Exercise Research (IGER). Its aim is to help community-led, charitable, and not-for-profit organisations evaluate the mental health and wellbeing outcomes of their green exercise and nature-based activities.
The pilot is open to eligible Ottawa-based initiatives that provide outdoor physical activity or nature-based activities and support adult mental health and/or wellbeing. Through a simple, low-burden evaluation process, participating groups will receive an independent report summarising participant outcomes across measures such as wellbeing, social connection, loneliness, and connection with nature.
Participating initiatives will benefit from valuable insights into participant outcomes, which may support funding applications and stakeholder engagement. The pilot is delivered free of charge, requires a modest time commitment, and includes guidance and support from the IGER team throughout the pilot.
Expressions of interest are open until 5:00 pm on Sunday August 2, 2026.
